For HomeOwners
The HOPE for Homeowners program will refinance mortgages for borrowers who are having difficulty making their payments, but can afford a new loan insured by HUD's Federal Housing Administration (FHA). The program begins October 1, 2008 and ends September 30, 2011.
For Parents
Girl Scout Troop 215 is recruiting new Brownie Girl Scouts. Girls who are in the 2nd or 3rd grade are eligible. The Troop meets on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Salem Avenue Elementary School's cafeteria. Parents who may have a child or children preparing for the SAT/ACT may be interested in a CD ROM provided by eKnowledge. Due to sponsorhsip by several NFL players and the Department of Defense, the program may be obtained at a significanty reduced cost.
